snow and yellow


Today the sky was blue.
And the snow that lay round about seemed so too.
Yet my mood was warm yellow.
Like a daffodil poking through.

    I stood and looked awhile.
    The birds were quiet and the air was still.
    So I hoiked out my cahonga
    And pissed on the daffodil.
